Locking Shield For Valve Chamber

This product is strategically crafted from aluminum to fit inside a manhole beneath the street manhole cover. When used with locks, it secures the manhole from unauthorized entry. This can be used as a temporary measure to lock out access for safety issues or as a security precaution to prevent theft and vandalism.

Installation of the lockout shield requires both the installation tool and a drill with and extension arm and socket. The drill must not exceed 90 ft-lb torque. Standing or climbing on the access plate is prohibited.
